Another short post from me as I’ve just spent an hour “curating” this selection of images and my dinner is calling me!
Today was the Fujiholics London Photo Walk. A great event with about 60+ people attending. Not enough time to speak to everyone, but good to chat with those I did get to speak to, some familiar faces, some new and some surprise meetups with people I’ve met on my walking group.

At the weekend, I went along to a free Fujiholics event in London. You might be able to spot me in the group photos on their blog page.
Over two days, it was co-hosted and led by:
- Matt Hart on the Saturday (street photography)
- Paul Sanders on the Sunday (long exposure photography)
We had about 25 to 30 people turn up on each day, a nice friendly bunch.

After attending a Fuji X-perience day last month that included a session with Matt Hart, I thought I would treat myself to one of his workshops and get some tips on street photography and using my newly acquired Fuji X-T1.
Matt is an accomplished street photographer, a quick look at the images on his web site will confirm that. He’s also an official Fuji X-photographer, so knows the gear inside out.
The group size was small, only six of us, which is always a plus sign for me when booking a workshop. The cost was also very reasonable when compared to other workshops that I looked at.

I was lucky enough to bag a ticket, along with about 60 other photographers, to a Fuji X-perience day held at the offices of Amateur Photographer magazine.
I was mostly looking forward to getting my hands on a Fuji X-T1 and a selection of lenses to try out a mirror-less system. I’d seen some impressive results from other photographers and I was keen to lighten the load in my camera bag.
